Need LS/Vtec advice
After weeks of deliberation I have decided to build a ls/vtec for my 90 GS Integra. I am starting on the block (B18A), not enough cash to do everything at once. I need to have the block bored but I am considering using a block guard. I was against it till I read on theoldone where you can cut 1/8" notches every 3/8" at the cylinders to improve cooling. Has anyone done this? If so I would love to see pictures of the completed item. What is the best way to install the block guard? The rest of my block set-up is: Endyne 11:1 pistons, Endyne rods, GSR oil pump, balance everything, deck the block. Anything else I should do? Also, if anyone has a spare B18A crank in good shape shoot me an email.
