Don't know about the bhp, but you will need a mount kit for it to work. Go to www.hasport.com and check theirs out.

not recommended for civics, motor slants back. Good for going straight, not for touring and reliability for daily driving. Check out the hybrid page for recommended swaps in your car.

good luck

I can get a mount kit for the H22A at a good price for Honda-Tech members. I use the HCP mounts which IMO are better than the Hasport and alot cheaper(Hasport=$650 and look ugly). I am selling them for $450 but i am going to have a group buy on them. If i can get at least 5 people i can sell them for $400. Plus the mounts use energy suspension bushings, so the car doesnt vibrate hardly at all. Not the stiff polyurethane.

Just did a swap with it and it mounts perfectly. The car also handles suprising well for such a large motor.

It's not bolt in, but the numbers are awesome. Check out http://www.atomicperformance.com for some information about H22 into a civic. Here in Tampa, FL I have seen a stock H22 (mugen header) in a VX running high 12's. The motor swap was all performed by the driver who is very knowledgable about swaps & mechanics in general. How badly did you break your B16a?

the b16a has a smashed washer that goes on the valve spring. when i took theplugs out, one of them was loose and had fragments of metal stuck to it. also when it blew up i found a few chunks of metal but dont know where from. i think it'll be easier to just get a new engine coz i can get one for 350 quid
