need help w/Gsr in a Ek hatch
i just install a 98 gsr into my 96 cx hatch. everything was plug and play except for the ICAV and the Crank sensor. i just cut and wire it with the gsr plug. The Problem is that my engine wont fire up. i check for fuel and spark. both is there. All my ground are intact and seem fine. Any idea why it wouldnt start and the only codes im getting is a code 22 which is vtec pressure, but that will still make my engine start. Any suggesting????????

I'm assuming you used your stock harness... Did you label all of the clips? From what I remember its a little more than plug-n-play, theres a few connectors that need extension and different plugs.

I don't think the IACV would keep it form starting.. I've hooked it up wrong and the car started, but it idle'd horrible.
Double check your grounds, put a test light to the yel/black at the distrib to make sure you are getting power to the distrib.
I dont know why you are getting a 22 man, are you confident in your wiring?
Did you pull the civic harness with the motor, then install on the teg motor outside the car? It's alot easier if you didnt...

what about the Crank sensor? the civic has 3 wire and the gsr block has 2, i just match up two wire and left the 3rd one taped up.

Have you checked the firing order, fuel pressure, timing, etc., etc. Things like that can cause your ride not to start.
