I have used this one without a problem.
On the boomslang one, blk/yel is not ign output. It is 12v switched for the coil. I have not checked the boomslang one.

No, It is actually easier. The dizzy plug if the civic will plug and play into the OBD1 prelude, follow the guide in the H22a thread that hondzivc made to convert it to external.
You have to run the blue tach signal wire to the driver side connector for the stock tach to work.
I should really read the OP question

Re: Need Help Obd2-Obd1 distributor wiring (ExplicitSpeed360)
Okay I made this and light blue according to the plugs goes with the big black/yellow wire on the civic plug. The Darker Blue is below in the pack of wires. So should I just match up plug positions instead of colors?????

Re: Need Help Obd2-Obd1 distributor wiring (ExplicitSpeed360)
this is how i do mine..
obd0 -------------------- obd2
thick solo white(alone on bottom)----------------- yel/grn
blu/grn -------------------- blue
blue/yel ----------------------- white
orng/blu ----------------------- grn
wht/blu --------------------- red
orng ------------------------- yel
white ------------------------- black
-Ryan
PS, then the 2 pin plug, just match up the blue and yel/blk.... if you have a 8 pin d series 2b connector.... here is what you do.
color match the blk/yel and take the blue wire from the 2 pin obd0 side, and tap that to the yel/grn on the obd2 side. This shares the tach with the igniter, getting signal...
