OBD1 distributor into OBD2b car

Default OBD1 distributor into OBD2b car
I have all the wiring diagram I need to make this work.
What I cant firgure out is the OBD2b engine harness has only 8 wires for the distributor.
The OBD1 distributor has 9 wires. Either way Im going to be missing a wire. Can someone please help.

the missing wire is the tach signal wire. Its much easier IMO to just swap the guts between the 2 distributors.

do you have any pictures of how to gut the distributor im kinda having a problem with that.

I swapped the guts over and the wiring, IIRC the plugs are different, just swap the plugs and your good to go.
