Well that was a mis-leading title
This topic has been covered before....search didn't turn up anything?
Anyway, to answer: Using a socket, breaker bar + 4ft cheater pipe will/should do it. You can try some PB Blaster first, let it soak, hit it with a hammer (to try and break it loose a little) and then get on it with the 4ft'er.
But personally, my impact took care of it....but sometimes the impact is not the end all be all to getting that thing unstuck, as many a board member will attest to, thats why I suggested the 4ft'er first.
Good luck.

If he's broken sockets that means the crank bolt is really really really stuck.
I am assuming you found a way to keep the crank from turning.
Anyway, what you need is a high carbon socket. The ones being used by impact wrenches should be good.
Also, get a braker bar with a lifetime warranty. Its only a few bucks more, plus when it breaks, you get a new one.

Sounds like someone's using 3/8" or thin-wall sockets. Get an impact-rated socket set (Harbor Freight sells them cheap) and use a 1/2" breaker bar with a good length of cheater pipe over it. Or get an impact wrench.

I was reading a post like this about a guy with a CRX that was trying to get his crank pulley off. He said he used a cheater bar and jumped on it until the bottoms of his feet hurt, and it finally gave.
A guy a know tried with his Civic EX and gave up in the end and took it to the dealership. I imagine they gave it to him raw.

yea go to like sears and get a small set of impact sockets (they always come in handy) a new wrench while your at it. (lifetime warranties rule)
go to ace and get a 4ft long pipe with an opening big enough for the socket wrench
then go to town on the pulley
if this STILL dosent work, get a friend with a GOOD impact wrench.
you might want to give it a liberal dousing of wd40 or triflo (if you can get it) and give it some time to let it work
good luck
