Re: seized crank bolt (Ricey McRicerton)
Yeah I have tried a Johnson bar, and an impact gun... and other than heat I am stuck on what to try next... I was hoping to find something else to try.

I haven't tried to bust mine loose yet, I have a 240ft/lb electric impact wrench. If that doesn't work, I'm taking it to a garage that has a big 600+ft/lb impact that will definitely loosen it... then tighten to 50ft/lb by hand for a slow drive home.

I literally stand on a pipe on the end of a breaker bar and jump up and down for about 5 minutes, it usually pops loose. even using a 500ft/lb impact i have been unable to get them off ...........................John

Good luck with that. Mine fell off in less than 10 minutes about 20lf/lbs looser than recommended. Apparently they changed the amount of trq you need on them. And 20 below what they say now WILL make it fall off.

I tried an impact, didn't work. Tried an impact driver, didn't work. I ended up using a big breaker bar and it came right off. Hardest part was getting the flywheel locked so I could actually put some pressure on there.
