and milling is??
Yo, not for nothing, but you dont seem to know much about any terms that are used in this post, i dont suggest you go building a motor untill you learn more about this, i mean, you wouldnt want to go building a motor, and reducing it to a worthless peice of metal due to a tricky thing called thermal meltdown , hows about a stock gsr motor man... and also, ctr pistons will yeild 12.3:1 compression in an ls block..

Why not use B16 pistons?? It'll put your CR in between the ITR's and the CTR's....

I'd run the oversized p30 pistons. Reason being with the .25 oversized you get a really good seal and the compression on the p30's are .2 higher than the pr3 ones. so you'll be close to 12.0:1. you'll be around 11.8. Or you can go ahead with the pr3 pistons and mill the head just a tad 20 thou since you have to mill the head anyway to get it to be perfectly flat on the bottom. But don't get offended about that comment about you not knowing certain things. Those are important things to learn, and truthfully if you don't know about it you need to let an experianced builder build it or just search and learn. that's what i did.

don't get the gsr pistons. they yeild a lower compression in the lsvtec build.
pr3 1st gen b16
p30 new gen b16
pct= ctr

Why don't you get that??? USDM GSR P72-A0s are the only VTEC pistons with negative dome (-0.600cc's) P72-00, P73-A0, P73-00, PR3, P30, and PCT slugs are all positive... Hope this makes sense... Peace
