Re: ls/vtec superchrger or turbo (beaterman)
if your gonna take it to the track and build your engine properly for hi-rpm usage ( 6000 + rpm for half an hour and not blow up, every sunday) then go for the turbo
if this is your daily driver, and you dont care about shaving off half a second off your lap times and the such, then go for a super charger, for one it gives you alot more power in the lower rpm ranges ( aka traffic), and its alot more reliable than a turbo if you gravitate towards the "lazy type" person who checks his oil once a month and not everyday, because you cant just slap an aftermarket turbo on and forget about it, you have to take care of it.
to sum it up:
heavy track use, need for ultimate speed, and will never see a 7 lane lock up ( 5 lanes + both emergency lanes locked up, only in Russia) then go for a turbo.
if you want a simple boost in performance through out your rpm range so you can outperform the v6's now and then, then go for the supercharger.
my 2 cents.
