Default Looking for some Help

So, I am not new to honda's, however I am not a pro at engine swaps either. lol. So I am hoping some guru's can help me out.

My buddy picked up a 97 Civic DX coupe that has been B18B1 swapped and boosted. The car is having some issues. And I think its wiring.

The motor in the car is all OBD2, than a obd2-obd1 jumper harness is used with a P75 ECU if I remember correctly. i know for sure its jumpered down to OBD1, just not 100% on the ecu. I will find out in the morning again.

Right now the car has a IACV code. And it idles really high. I have read that the IACV wires need to be switch dependin on application in the OBD2 cars, would this still need to be done while using the ecu jumper harness?

I have been trying to search, but it seems most people just go the easy way and use an OBD2 ecu. And not many threads out there about using the obd1 ecu. So any help would be appreciated. I am just trying to save his car. lol
