Some people don't want the weight, some are too cheap to do it right.
All you need it the correct bracket and your AC compressor will bolt to the bracket and it will bolt to the block.
What car and engine do you have? Year?

If you are going from an SOHC to the DOHC implant, you'll want the DelSol VTEC ac bracket, its stamped with a P54. It allows you to use your AC comp on the fresh swap.

You need the ac bracket with a P54 stamped on it. Mine was from a 99-00 Si and had the P54 stamp but now the 96+ del Sol is the bracket you need to get (it has the P54 stamp now).
You can't use the gsr bracket since the teg uses a different ac compressor (mounts differently).
