Default K20A2 oil squirters on a K20A3?

don't know if this is the right place to ask but does anyone know if the oil squirters from a K20A2 can be made to work on a K20A3 block? I'm guessing there are oil feed passages that may need to be drilled out somehow, is this even possible?

No the k20a3 does not have these... Other and only difference of the block is smalled water passages....

Now as far as drilling holes.... use forged pistons and there is no need for them

I know it doesn't have them; what I'm asking is whether it can be done, b/c I think this has been done by some on previous-gen engines. I know someone who's playing around with building up a spare K20A3 block and has the A2 parts available. Getting forged pistons is a different question. Thanks

are oil squirters required for high boost applications?? i plan on putting forged pistons and rods with a type s crank on the a3 block, do i still have to use oil squirters on it???

from what I understand, the oil squirters are there primarily to cool the bottom of the (cast) pistons in high-revving vtec engines. I think maybe they help lube the crank too. most everybody says you don't need them with forged internals. it would be interesting to find out if it can be done though.
