jmd b18c1 swap -beginner
Ok, so, I'm looking into getting my first car at the end of this month. I've decided on a civic, which one, im not sure. I've done a lot of research into the engines and what performance mods I want to do; yet, i'm still kind of confused. I had my sights on the 99 ex, only problem, its a d series engine 125 hp (i think), so no swapping to the jmd b18c1. I read that the 92-95 civics were on the b series, so they can be swapped with the jmd b18c1. Ive also read that they are on the d series. I want the coupe more than the hatch, but if i have to get the hatch, i will. So, can I put the b18c1 into a 92-95 civic coupe? Could I put it into the 99ex coupe? (i'm guessing no on the last one).
Thanks in advance for the help

Re: jmd b18c1 swap -beginner (Kriebel89)
obd2 jdm gsr would be a very simple swap in your car....BTW, it's JDM, not jmd lol
either car would be ideal for a swap- the older car will be cheaper but it'll most likely have more overall use/mileage and the engine you'll swap will be older (obd1); the later car will be more expensive but the engine you swap into it (obd2) will be newer. it's ideally up to you- whatever car you can afford that'll leave the most money left over for swapping.

if i were you, i'd read on here ALOT and search the net for info to learn about the various swaps and what's required. read as opposed to post.
