Default JDM engine harness....will it work???

Will the JDM GSR engine wire harness work in a USDM eg Si body?? I am concerned about the differences in the harness between the left and right hand drive vehicles and the lengths of the harness for battery, fuse box, etc. Any experienced input would be appreciated.

I may try and find a USDM harness and use that.

the usdm harness will be a good choice or just modding your stock harness as well, thats not hard at all.

It WILL work. I have personally done this before.

You can get the plugs to reach. I didnt have to cut or extend any wires. The only thing I did was cut some of the loom, so it could stretch farther.

Also the only wire I couldnt get to reach was the thick white wire that runs from the alternator to the fuse box. So I just pulled that wire out of my stock harness.

When I sold the swap, I installed it the same way into the next guys car and its still running perfectly to this day with no electrical problems what so ever(its been 3-4 years now).

Its a nice alternative if your strapped for cash and dont want to spend $150-$200 on an engine harness.
