Are they both the same and will a JDM harness work w/ USDM motor?

 

they are backwards, all the main plugs are on the opposite sides.
so no, they will not work in a left hadn drive car

 

JDM harnesses are made for RHD cars. So the battery terminal connector will be on the drivers side of the engine bay instead of the passenger. Use your existing harness or get a USDM one if you're doing a swap.

 

Yes, the JDM harness WILL work on a US motor if it's in a RHD chassis. But if you're wanting to know if a JDM harness will plug and play into a US LHD honda, no it wont, not with out modification, which isn't worth doing. You're way better off with a US engine harness for a US car. The JDM harness is only useful for spare plugs & wiring on a US car.

well i toke a JDM wire and turn it around !! toke some work but now it is like honda made it !!! only i didt it wth a frined !! ;-) the bad part off it was engine wire, had 2 make one our self from old and the JDM, and some plugs was not in same place in the jacks !! speedo didt not work after a little shifting around the wires as well for the gas pump and control arms !! brun the rear washer control arm !!
