Default lenthening engine wire harness

My engine wire harness doesnt reach the clips(JDM engine in a USDM car), so instead of tugging and trying to make it reach, im giong to leave all my wires on the left side of the car, cut the clip off the right side of the harness, get teh same guage wire, solder it wrap it up and then it will fit. Anyone have any objections to doing it this way, it should be fine right.

Use the stock USDM harness for the motor. Add the 4 or 5 wires for the swap.
Drink a beer,
Call it a day.
Have fun!

agreed

even lenghtening with solder and all still adds recistance to the circuit but if thats your only option then do it that way

USDM GSR with JDM b16.

The harnesses have to switch sides, the ones that go into the firewall are stretched out and have no bends, its as far as they go, but the engine side harnesses are still on the topposte sides and have to meet them

no its not RHD

is it true soldering adds resistance, i heard it does i heard it doesnt. I really prefer to solder it would make the job look cleaner after its done instead of havign stretched wires all over
