JDM B18C with Type R Head Hesitate at full throttle
Hi everyone. I've been having problems with my motor. The motor is a 94 jdm gsr block with a 97 type r head. The motor is swapped into a 96 honda civic dx hatchback. I used the original wiring harness from the car and added the vtec wirings and the necessary modifications to the IACV. I have a new honda OEM head gasket, new spark plugs and spark plug wires, new distributor cap, new fuel filter. Everything that was new were replaced. My motor is still giving me problems.
Problem:
The motor hesitates at 5k rpm at full throttle. By hesitations, I mean bog. I am not sure what it is. What is tripping me out is that when the throttle is slightly open (let's say half throttle) the hesitation is not as bad. I do not know what is the cause of this problem. Please help you guys. I want to get my motor to run really good.

Wrong ECU? Sounds like you're running GSR's ECU or insufficient basemap and the motor is starving for more air and fuel.

check the calibration on your tps sensor, also recheck the timing on the crank, and the cam timing
