JDM B18C swap problems...Please Help
I have a 00 Auto Civic EX. I just recently changed it to a manual JDM B18C swap and having alot of trouble getting her to fire up.
I tried using the cars original harness but could only get fuel but no spark. I threw on a OBD2b to OBD2a conversion harness and still no luck. On the EX harness I could read codes off the EX ecu but not off a SI or the JDM GSR ECU(P72)when hooked up on the EX harness only gives me a code one.
I now have swapped to a B16 manual harness. But when I plug in the SI ecu I'm only getting code one. Which is what it does with the original harness and the SI ecu and GSR.
Only thing not hooked up because there is no plug is the crank position sensor because the JDM motor does'nt have one. Could this be my problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

Most people buy a whole USDM harness and computer when installing a JDM motor. Maybe thats what you need. And what OBD is the motor itself? You may need a conversion.

Run the JDM ECU if you aren't. Check the wiring at your distributor.
Make sure you check and insure that the ignition coil isn't bad either, fresh plugs, good wires.

Found the problem. Was a blown fuse. Got the conversion harness from Rustin @ Boomslang. He was very helpful.
Car is fired up and ready to go. Thanks for the help guys.
