you'll need a B series rear L bracket.

Use the same bracket. If you're swapping into an EG, you need to use the GSR bracket. Trust me, I have a type r transmission in my EG and I used the GSR bracket. The holes should line up.

Make sure you also change the rear rubber mount to a GSR one also. The GSR L-bracket won't work with the stock civic rubber mount. You need the GSR one.

I don't know where you heard this from...

he shouldn't have to change out the rear engine mount (rubber), they're all the same between EG & DC2 chassis's.

Maybe it was just my car. I dropped a B16A2 and I had to use the GSR rear engine mount. I tried it with the EG rear mount and the holes did not line up. By the way it was a 92 Civic DX.
