ITR swap in ek- o2 sensor question
hey i was reading some where that jdm engine even though obd2 will not throw a code for the 2nd stream o2 sensor if the cat is not there.? is this true? i plan on going cat less, can i just not even connect the 2nd stream o2 sensor or... do i need to trick it some how>? i will be running a 99 itr swap 99itr ecu. in 98 ek hatch. help!

Yeah, if you plan on staying obd2 you might have a problem. You could always run an o2 stimulator. Itll make the ecu think that it has both o2's and a cat.
