Default Infamous LS/VTEC

I'm finally doing the LS/VTEC swap but still got some question that I need help with. This swap will be going into a 99 civic dx. Can anybody tell me which motor mounts I'm suppose to get and which ecu can be used. I have a stock ac compressor from my civic would it fit the b-series block if I use the 99 civic si bracket because the compressor looks different. Also the shift linkage I am suppose to get is suppose to be from the intergra right? I still really don't understand OBD1 and OBD2 when you could use any ls block from 90-00. Is there any extra sensors on the integra 96+ block? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You need the mounts from the 99-00 Si, NOT THE INTEGRA

One say the integra other says the civic WOW! Who to trust... ok about the ls/vtec If I just buy the short block and I already have the head will the starter and alternator form my 99 civic dx swap over to the new engine. Does anybody know if the parts are the same. I've heard that the tranny from the civic are interchangable with the integra and the starter sits right on top of the tranny. thank

thanks.. ok after looking in to the ls/vtec is toooo much trouble locating parts and after I peice this thing together it'll cost more then just getting a damn gsr or close. So I was just think about getting the b16a2 from a 97 del sol sir . Would it be possiable to put the crank from the b17a to stroke the b16a2 to 1.7L. Would the parts just swap over? That would give me a sleeper b16a with 1677.81 cc over a regular b16a with 1587.12 cc still 119.19 cc less then a gsr and 156.9cc less then a ls/vtec but much cheaper and less trouble for me... so what do u guys think

I found out that the 93 gsr crank would swap right into the b16a motor, but the b17a piston has a lower compression about 9.something:1 but you could use the b17 crank and rods and swap over your b16a pistion to get you more cc and a higher compression of about 10.9:1
