Default inexpensive but decent swap????

what is an engine that i can put into my ek that would be cheap but, at the same time be able to get up and go pretty good. and be able to mod a little?? thanks a lot!!

great all around motor if fitted with skunk intake manifold/crower internals and b16 lsd tranny.

Or you could snag a B18B for cheap and turbo that *****...I plan on doing just that...sOOn as I save 1200 buckaroos.

I did mine for under $3500.
I'd say a D16y8. It's very inexpensive, and there's still a good amount of aftermarket support for it..

Good call. And when you do save up for the glorious h22 swap, save up some more for mounts and a new clutch.........
