IAB wiring?
#2
There are two wires from the IAB...it does not matter which is which because it is a solenoid...one goes to the ECU (pinout A17) and the other to a 12V power source.
Note: For an OBD2 ECU one goes to the ECU and the other is a ground wire.

I cut them at the solenoid, spliced in new wires, ran one to the ECU and one is at the battery for now...we are still in the process of working out getting VTEC working...damn ECU is looking for the oil pressure switch that does not exist on JDM motors.

Re: (00DVPGSR)
One small clarification here, OBD2 for 96-98 has one wire to ECU and one to ground. If it is a 99-00 OBD2 GSR ECU , it is the same as the 94-95 Integra.
00DVPGSR, just get a US VTEC solenoid and oil pressure switch and bolt it on.

Re: (00DVPGSR)
Are you getting a CEL code eventhough the vtec is not wired up all the way? I ask this because I am not getting any codes from the ecu, and I don't think that my vtec is working. I just wanted to see if the ecu would tell you if vtec is not working.

there's an easy fix for this.
Simply cut the VTPS power wire and splice it into the VTEC solenoid wire then ground the other VTPS wire, and VTEC will worky.

Re: (Katman)
Katman is that information correct on the IAB wiring for the OBD 1 and OBD 2.
OBD 1=Power source
OBD 2=Ground
Do you know of any places to find the ECU wiring for an OBD 1 H22A.
Thanks,
JAson Tamalavicz

You have to cut the black wire at the harness. The OBD2 motor has it going to a ground so if you splice in at the shock tower you'll blow the ECU fuse because there are other grounds tapped in to that wire as well. I did use the wire at the shock tower harness for the pink/blue though. It took forever for me to figure out the IAB wiring. If you need pics I can post some for you. I also have a video that proves the secondaries open when the car is reved past 6k in neutral so you can check that way
