hybrid radiator problems.

hybrid radiator problems.
I have a b18c in my EG. So, instead of going by my instincts, my friend who did his LS swap, told me to put an EG dual core over a ITR or GSR radiator. So, obviously, I had to buy GSR hoses, considering that an EG hose would not fit on the GSR goosnecks, but at the same time they will NOT fit in the EG dual core Koyo goosnecks.
Anyone else run into this problem? Solutions......
I figured I could just get the gooseneck on the Rad upsize, with a pipe diameter machine. Is there anything that you could/have done that works w/o any leaks? Even if I was to clamp the hose on the goosneck it will still be somewhat loose since I cant get a small enough clamp on the GSR hoses.

This is what you do....go and cut a short(Length of the radiator nipple) piece of radiator hose from you original civic hoses and slip it on the radiator nipple. That will give you the right thickness to fit the GSR hose on there nicely

Ok, well if anyone else has any input, go ahead. Otherwise, I'm going to take 1fast and taqman's advice

Re: hybrid radiator problems. (Malachi)
you sure its a dual core, last time my friend did it the hose wouldn't fit over the rad, so we got the del sol vtec hoses which fit correctly if i remember
Upper radiator hose
For B16A and B17A, use 94 Del Sol VTEC
For B18A use 94 Integra LS 94 Integra LS
For engines with B16A head or Type R, use 94 Del Sol VTEC.
For engines with B18C head, use 94 GSR

Re: hybrid radiator problems. (doublejz)
I have had mine like that for over a year now....not one drop has leaked from the radiator. Compared to my old swap that was done by a shop...they just cranked down the worm clamps to take up the extra size in the radiator hose. I found that it leaked and needed tightening at least once every few months compared to my setup which does not leak.
PS...its also a very clean method of doing...it will look just like stock!

Double, Yes its a Dual Core Koyo, they dont make singles unless you are using your stock rad, which is made by Koyo.
Thanks, 1fast, Im going to go finish that up here in a little while. I'm glad I havent received anything negative about it. Saves me some $$$, that I dont really want to waste on something that is so minuete.

Re: hybrid radiator problems. (TODAeg6)
Hey, just a little heads up for anyone else that has this problem. I can vouch for the people who helped me out. I took their advice and tried hose-over-hose and it worked great! Now, Ill get some fluid in there and see for myself if I notice any leakage, but I HIGHLY doubt I will. Also, instead of using the regular clamp I decided to go with the adjustable screw ons, helps to make for a perfect fit. It does increase the pull/tension on the hose, so I'm assuming you will need to use a 1 1/2 clamp if you decide not to use the screw tightener type.
THANKS Guys!!
