Eg radiator and EM1 radiator... are they interchangeable?

Default Eg radiator and EM1 radiator... are they interchangeable?

like it says... are Eg radiators and EM1 radiators interchangeable... (mounts/coolant hoses) and correct me if im wrong but the EM1 radiator is a bit thicker too right?

They're interchangeable in terms of fitting in the chassis. But the EM rad uses larger inlets. This and the fact they're dual core is what makes them so awesome for B-series swaps. You'll have some trouble getting D-series hoses on the inlets, but you can probably get them to fit if you try hard enough.

its not hard.. but if your swapping the raditor you might aswell do hoses aswell, and thermostat, etc etc

well heres the deal... i actually have a 91 Si and i have the innovative crossmember replacement wich has mounts for and eg radiator. im just swaping a d16z6 so any radiator will do but im just thinking if i can make a thicker one fit why not? ihave to buy one anyways. i also dont really see any point in any aftermarket rads with a stock d series.

Not trying to thread jack but would it be better to run a Si radiator on a Gsr swap in a Ej8 rather than my stock Ej8 radiator? Just curious if there is any diffirence or benefit from it

Yeah, it cools better (dual core) and you don't have to use adjustable hose clamps.
