Default how hard is it to swap a vtec motor into an 86 CRX?

haven't decided on a motor yet. d series or b series. its for my brother. he is young so i don't want anything too fast. we already have the chassis, we just need to find a powerplant and find out how much trouble it would be to complete the swap before we start. i assume the carbureted>FI issue may be troublesome.

If it's a a carb car then yes it's not really worth the trouble and a bad first swap. The electrical and fuel system are not setup for FI and with the trouble of running a return fuel line, adding wiring for FI, plus the actual swap itself, it's not really worth it.
