Re: HONTEC RS EVO.........
I can tell you all that this car wil exceed all expectations. I'm the owner of the EK he's prepping but his own DC takes things a few steps further. The way the engine and gearbox are going to be fitted is insane, as are all the mods that are planned for this car.
Big for Randall!

Re: HONTEC RS EVO.........
Project terminated, basically the theory if it would fit was proven, only remaining thing was to hook it up.
The main reason for termination is the fact that it is going to be replaced by something way, way, way more cool....

Does solsurvivor owe you or any of us anything? He shared details of his project/experiment and decided to scrap it & move on. When an auto company does this we call it business as usual.

Sorry but who would want a dc2 shell with the complete rear section cut out?
Hmm no offence but we do exacly the same as we join forces in afganistan?? Furthermore i believe there are a few things that have gone wrong??
yeah spoken like a true foreigner, Americans always helping out other countries but nothing in return talk about selfish

Well I certainly benefited from this thread. It helped me a great deal with my project. I'm glad you posted your project Randall. I'm sorry to see an end such as this to that chassis, but you do what you gotta do.
Please be sure and post up what will be "even more cool". I'm waiting with baited breath. It'd better be a Honda .

Ditto. Many thanks Randall for sharing what you have! On my own I never would have considered using CRV bearings in eleventy billion years.
As been asked before, what is this "something way, way, way more cool"?

Guys ,it was fun to figure out if it would work, and it did. All it needed was things hooked up.But the reason for not finishing was a simple calculation of the costs remaining to get this thing up and running and for that money I could build my dreamcar. This car when finished could never be sold unless with a huge loss.
I've been building honda's for 17 years now and I've decided to switch to something completely different, change of venue so to speak.
When I have her, I'll post a pic, thereafter I will probably be banned...lol...
I hope you guys have lots of fun with your awd projects, they both are solid and good! And i will keep track of your updates
