sup. i've seen their website and it looks very tempting to get. stage 3 (full throttle shifting/set rpm launch/vtec controller/speed limiter removed) is what im looking at. can all you hondata users tell me if its worth getting it or not? the good and the bad(if any) sides to this. your input is appreciated... thanx

Holy MF does it ever look worthwhile! But holy MF is it ever expensive! Stage 4 with boost capabilities will set you back $1200... before tax!

I believe there was a long discussion going on about this in the Forced Induction forum. There was even a Hondata rep present. I think it was called "Hondata Qs" or something like that.

 

What you need to know is that the Hondata system is modular. $1200 for stage 4 has the features that most dealers and tuners use. If you do not need all the features then stage 2 NA is available for $390 and Stage 2B for boosted cars is $690. A dealer can then custom tune your ECU. And these stages include a Factory VTEC controller, shift light and raised RPM. Nothing can touch these stages in value for money.
