honda miata???
why not, put the s2k motor (f22?) and drop that in a miata so its still 50/50 weight ratio and go autocross it. that could be fun, but could it be done within reason?

Re: honda miata??? (divisionskate)
What is "in reason?" I think if you want a fast Miata it is more financially "reasonable" to throw on a turbo or supercharger. A F20C/F22C Miata would have a high "cool factor," though

Anything can be done with enough money. Would it be worth the semi-ludicrous amount required? I doubt it. You could get the same amount of power with an easier swap or turbo/supercharger. Bling factor would be less, but doing it just to be different isn't worth it IMO. I'm one of those function > form guys though, so what do I know

There are several f20 powered miatas out there, along with small block miatas, turbo rotary miatas, sr20det miatas. That car is a ***** for engine swaps, and it always ends up fast as ****.

Re: honda miata??? (Radyjr)
Well, I spoke with the owner of that Miata in an e-mail or two a few weeks ago and he said that in the July edition of Super Street, there will be a 5 page write-up on how to swap the F20C into a Miata.
I look forward to buying the mag, I would advise doing so if you are interested in the swap itself
