Default HELP ON TAKING PINS OUT OF THE PLUGS


Who knows how to take out the pins out of the obd1 and obd2 engine harness plugs???

It's pretty easy for the harness plugs.You have to have enough light to see into the plug where the pin is.You'll see a little clip holding it in.You just have to take a pin removal tool,a tiny flathead screwdriver you buy frmo electroni stores or a bent paperclip and push the clip its hung up on back,than the pin should slide right out.You do it from the plug side,not the wire side.Also,some pins on the harness only require you to push them back and than down.

yeah, its easy, i usually use a safety pin. works good for me...

I've also used a safety pin.
