Default Help.......Overheating hybrid

I've got a b20z in a 92 hatch and I just installed a brand new thermostat and radiator cap. This problem has only happened twice but I need to here some ideas. When the car has overheated the last two times, the reservoir has been overflowing with coolant and the coolant in the reservoir is so hot that it is boiling. I've drained the radiator once already and it has brand new coolant. The fan is working but doesn't come on as much as I think it should but it does work. This is my second thermostat. I've checked the oil and there's no bubbles or green fluid in it. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Have you bled the cooling system?

... in case you don't know... this basically consists of taking the radiator cap off and letting the car run until the fan comes on twice. It gets the air out of the lines, but makes a mess doing it. If you've done that then I don't have any ideas...

Did u change radiator??
Aside from the fact that b20s have much bigger radiator than civics because its a bigger engine, If you are running a high compression engine, it will produce even more heat.
