i changed my thermostat, bled the system, the fan works and it has fluid in the radiator. could the radiator need to be flushed possibly? improper coolant/water mixture? anyone have any i dea's?

 

Improper mixture could absolutely be it among other things.

Have you thoroughly inspected the hoses/rad for leaks?

 

Does the indicator actually read hot or is the reservior filling up and not going down? I've actually had a radiator cap that would let coolant go to the resesrvior but not let the coolant back into the radiator making me think the car was overheating.
