Default help...b16head, gsr block...bog at 5 g's

my boy just put a 93 b16 head onto a 00 gsr block into and eg, and the car is bogging out at like 5 grand.. he already adjusted the distributer and the timming.. does anyone have an ideas to clear this up???

Is he using the GSR ECU?
Since he isn't using the GSR intake manifold, there will be a hiccup at around 4800 when the secondary butterflies are supposed to open.
Switch with a P28, or ITR, CTR computer.

the IAB's open at 5700. sorry.

he is feeling vtec kick in too early. look into a VAFC to set vtec where its supposed to be. at 55-5800.
