I posted this in the EG section but couldnt solve the problem......

I had a b18c5 in a DX running a p-28 mugen program and it was running fine. Then i got the chance to get a VX so basically i pulled the two motors and switched them (everything except the pigtails) and now im getting a CEL code 1. I got one suggestion and tried it but it didnt work.

Basically what my question is how different is the VX wiring harness compared to the DX?? I know the V-TEC wires are already there but is there something to do with the 02 sensor too? Another guy told me that the VX uses a 5 wire 02 sensor and the others use a 4 wire setup. When i did the swap I kelp all the wires that were on the motor so this is really frustrating me. People tell me its not that big of a problem but im **** about things like this. so if anyone can help that would be great thanks and sorry for the long post.

Also what exhaust are you running on your hatch?

 

How many O2 sensors are you using? I also have a VX with a swap and my 02 sensor comes on about once a day. I'm using a 94 Ls ecu and my 02 is located in my cat right now. I think the original location on a 94 teg is in the collector and not in the cat.
Where is your 02 sensor located?

 

my 02 is in the collector and i just have one. and as far as exhast I just have a straight header back with a AC REV or something like that so its just header pipe and muffler. damn anyone with this problem that actually fixed it????
