HCP Mount Stiffening
Recently I broke a transmission bracket bolt at the track and the result was a severly shredded mount insert. Here is a brief write up of what I did to make an already stiff mount even stiffer.
First you will have to remove the inserts from the mount. You will see there is a space between the inserts about the size of another insert:
You'll see that if you just trim off the out 'hangover' portion of an insert it will fit perfectly. You will have three inserts straight across leaving no space between them. This will make your mounts a lot more solid. Now the trick is that while all of the mounts use the same inserts one of the mounts (either rear or passenger, i can't remember which) has a slightly smaller gap between them. This means that once again you need to cut the insert. Cut out the portion outline in torquiose and it should fit nice.
Don't forget to use clamps, a vise (with wood blocks), or a press to sit them in there snuggly.

Re: HCP Mount Stiffening (DarkKnight[DMD])
Or you can squeeze some of this in there..... ($10 at a local auto parts store)
Fill the open areas (Rear engine/Tranny mount shown below)
Fill'n the Motor mount
I put some pressure on the mounts to keep the correct shape
