I read up on this earlier this month, turns out that you don't need that mount that goes from the subframe to the block. Front mount is not needed is you are running stiffer motor mounts.

True. Most aftermarket mounts delete the front mount. However, you need to leave it in if you're still on the stock mounts

he said that it would also be fine if u r on stock mounts but u have mm inserts. i recently ordered them, but it sucks that im only gonna be puttin them into one of mounts, bc the other one goes onto the front mount that im taking out. this is fine as well im assuming?

Using all oem mounts even with an insert in the rear I would Not remove the front mount. I would think this would tear the living **** out of the side 2 and the rear.

I have innovative mounts that allow the removal of the front mount.

thanks for the response. would it be ok if i ran on that for a little while, and then changed to either those innovative or esp mounts....maybe after a month or so?

also does anyone have any reviews on the esp mounts?

I have the ESP motor mounts bolted in right now. However, I am still waiting for the rain to clear out so I can finish putting everything back together and fire her up.

i now have the suggested setup if u are on front mounts, which is all oem mounts except for the front, and an energy suspension mm insert on the rear mount. they are right...i am having no problems with it.

when i first installed the header, i didnt have the rear motor mount insert in yet and i felt some weird kicks and stuff when engaging into 1st gear, but after i did the insert, it was gone. so im assuming it was that the motor was torquing/moving too much

I have been running with out a front mount on one of my cars for over a year, the back i have a solid insert, the sides i have filled with liquid nail, and no problems yet, on my other prelude i am running without a front mount, just es insert in the back. No problmes with either.

Yup. From the short period of time it was running, the vibrations were noticeable. However, I haven't had a chance to break them in yet, as I have to re-due my timing belt.
