If you want yur hood to sit flush you need custom hood or vc. I have an h2b crx and got the spacers down to an inch.

Also no need for a half core rad the stock one will work fine. I'm using my oem ef8 radiator and works great

 

I want the half core just to have more room in the small DA engine bay.
