H2B In A DB2?
Need some help in figuring out all the parts I need for this.
Obviously I need the H2B adapter kit, OSD or Bisi?
I plan to ditch my power steering (looping the PS rack) and A/C. Also going to run a half core rad.
Car is a 93 DB2 with a B16 in it. I want to know what parts I'll need apart from the adpater, clutch/flywheel, poly mounts, etc.
I did search and didn't turn up too much.

remove the bs http://kaizenspeed.com/detail....0&NM=
use a b-series flywheel/clutch starter linkage axles halfshaft
ill go with the qsd kit cuz its cheaper and cuz you use b-series mounts with it http://quartersportsdrag.com/FAQ.html
and you need the upper alt kit http://explicitspeedperformance.net/H22Aalt.html
and go to the h2b faqs

Re: H2B In A DB2? (gibsanez)
I read a thread about how one guy got around that.
Involves cutting the engine bracket.
I might cut out the inner hood skelton and space it a bit, we'll see.
EDIT: What about wiring?

The wiring will be the same as a straight H22 swap. The car is already OBD1 and wired for VTEC.
If you space your engine down you'll end up taking up the already minimal ground clearance for the exhaust and oil pan. The easiest method will be to make some sort of cover for the hole, whether it be a bump or an entire raised section of the hood.

How bad will it be though?
With the tools are my disposal I could easier fab a nice skid plate for the motor and what not.

gc is about 3.5" to 4.5" from the bottom of the oil pan with the qsd kit
how much did you lower car
and if you got good streets where you at you dont need a skid plate
Note new york is bad with car killing pot hoses

Re: H2B In A DB2? (The G2 Racer)
I completed my H2B swap in my DA (1990 LS integra) in January.... Its alot easier then I think people are trying to make it.... I did go a different route then suggested tho...
I used the full Evolution/Bisimoto kit (minus the mounts). Having used the other kit in a customers DC, I personally prefer the quality of the EVO/Bisi kit.
I made 1 (one) custom drivers side engine bracket. This allowed me to use the full HASPORT DA mount kit.
I removed the IAB butterfly plate, cut the skeleton out of the hood (which was already done) and made about 1" spacers for the hood mounting.
EVERYTHING else used in the swap was off the shelf parts or modified factory parts.
I have been daily driving this car since late January. I was even told at the Eibach Show that this swap couldnt be done without ALOT of other issuses (ie: the maifold hitting the firewall or sticking through the hood 6 inches....
I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have, just PM me!

Re: (donkeykongvtec)
Between tuning issues and Axle snapage, I only got one clean run in....
I ran a 13.84 @ 10? (dont have the timeslip nearby)
It was a high 1.8ish 60ft
I babied the launch and shifts to avoid more axle problems...
I think with a better tune and stronger axles I can pull low 13's to high 12's.

Re: (Gen2ITR)
Gen2ITR, I want to see some pictures with your hood closed.
The only thing really stopping me from doing this is the fact that I will have to space out my hood. Personally think it looks ugly (car is a mix of performance and looks).
