I have a h22a4 transmission (that's the trans with atts), and I'm doing a h22 swap into my eg. I heard that instead of having to buy a new tranny I could take the case of a f22 trans (that I already have) and put the h22 gears into that case. I was wondering if someone could elaborate on this a little bit to help me out.

its a lot more complex than jsut swapping gear stacks....
i know the f22 and base model h22 trannies have case halves that can intechange, but the Type-SH tranny has a weird *** diff to deal with the ATTS. I suspect that you MIGHT be able to take 1st through 5th out of the lude trans and put it in the f22 trans, but then you will be stuck with the f22 final drive....
