Default H22A4 94 Del Sol Running but...

I'm getting a code 16 for fuel injectors. The Prelude I pulled the motor from did not have a resistor box connected to it, but it ran fine. Why would it not run right in my Del Sol? There was already an resistor box in the Del Sol engine bay, should I hook it up? Also, someone said that OBD2 H22s had different injectors that did not require an injector resistor box, how do I tell what injectors I have?

Regardless you should run a resistor box. I have odb II inectors w/ box for many years no without issues.

Did the 94 D16Z6 use a resistor box? If not, then why is there one mounted in the engine bay of my Del Sol? I'm using the D16Z6 harness and there is a plug by the driver side end of it, do I just plug the resistor box into it? Is it already wired up?

you don't need the resistor box, only the obd 1 prelude requires resistor box for the injectors, the obd2 are saturated injectors and the box is not needed.

The motor is from a 98 Prelude Si, OBD2 if I am not mistaken. My prelude ran fine until it was totaled by an explorer

TTT HELP
How do you turn the cel off?
Also, I'm using 90-93 teg axles, but I think they are bottoming out in the outer joints because of how low my car is. Is there a shorter shaft that I can install?

A 98 Prelude Si? Does not exist to my knowledge. 98 WOULD be obd2 though.

if it is the resistor box. i have one that i'll sell for 40 shipped.

might want to source out all your wiring to make sure you don't have a short/grounding problem. if not i'd start with the resistor box.

hey i got you covered on the axle thing, my passenger side was binding so i put an 88-89 ls integra axle and it works perfectly fine, the obd1 injectors are peak and hold meaning they need a resistor box i've got a set of jdm lude injectors (345cc peak and hold) if you want these, or if you do have obd2 injectors, the resistor box may cause a problem because it changes the ohms that the injectors recieve
