H22a Help
Alright I have 99 DX coupe with a 94 JDM H22a, im converting the car to OBD1 and I am using the DX engine wiring harness. Few questions
1. I have an 8 pin and 2 pin distributer sensors where does the 2 pin go?
2.There are 2 o2 sensors which one should I use and where should I put it?
3.Where should I tap into for the EGR, Vtec, and Knock sensor?

1 - Not too sure about on converting, like I told ya
2 - You'll want to use the front one on the header. The one on the Cat won't be used with OBD1
3 - As follows:
Exhaust Gas Recirculation:
Five wires need to be added.
EGR lift valve solenoid – sensor voltage (tap into Yel/Wht wire) & ECU signal to A11 pin-out
EGR lift sensor – sensor voltage (tap into Yel/Wht wire at the firewall), ground (tap into Grn/Wht wire at firewall) & ECU Signal to D12 pin-out.
VTEC:
3 wires total to be added:
VTEC Spool Solenoid goes to A4 pin-out.
VTEC Oil Pressure - Tap into D6 ecu pin-out and ground (Grn/Wht wire at the firewall)
HTH.

Well you have to remember that your harness is ODB II as well so I would suggest getting an ODB I ex/si Harness to make your life easier if you want to convert to ODB I. That way most things will plug up and you wouldnt have to do much rewiring..
That is why you have two o2 bungs on the harness as well.

Re: H22a Help (Jason kiDD)
look at your original engine and count the pins on its distributor plug then see if you can trace it back to its engine plug then compare it to the original location on the obdII plug.

Re: H22a Help (fastwanabe)
Alright ill try that out thanks for all the help guys. Maybe in the beginning it would have been smarting to use an obd1 wiring harness, but now since everything is either extended or wired up its a little to late to switch wiring harnesses.

..you're best off going with an OBD2 H22 distributor, just so it plug n' plays w/your DX harness. Supposedly, you can repin your DX harness with OBD1 distributor plugs, just by matching up the distr. wire colors, but I can't back that up since I haven't tried it on my own.

Re: H22a Help (Katman)
Alright thanks everybody, but on the P13 ecu how do I know which pin hole is what. For example if I am looking at the ecu which is A4 or D6 is there a diagram on some website that anybody knows of?

Re: H22a Help (poison)
I thouhgt I knew how to wire this but it seems every time I see a new post I get confused. I took a look at my EGR and these are the colors I have, also only 3 wires - (1)white/black (2)yellow/blue (3)green/black. Can you please tell me where exactly do they go. I have an OBDII motor converting to OBDI using conversion harness and a P13 ECU. -Please be as specific as you can-
Thanks,
