Your EK pump should do fine. However if you DO feel you have the need to upgrad then I would suggest the Walbro 190 or 255 gh pumps. Very inexpensive and work wonders..

Enough for most NA applications. But the 255 can be found for around $100 installed so it you may as well get that one. Just know that you WILL need a fuel pressure regulator to help bump down the pressure once it is installed..

A1000 Injected Bypass Regulator, P/N 13101:
For 1000 HP applications that require flexibility.

Intended for use with custom fuel rails, this true billet regulator was designed specifically for use with our A1000 Fuel Pump.

Base pressure (vacuum/boost disconnected) adjustable from 30 to 70 PSI....

That one.. And it can be found for around $125 shipped..

I installed the Walboro 255 lph fuel pump, but havent yet gotten around to buying a fpr and a guage, so I have not noticed any differences.

A higher flowing fuel pump alone won't nesscarily decrease gas mileage excessivly. At least the mine hasn't.

Installing a GSR fuel pump in a EK wouldn't necessarily need a fuel pressure regulator to control it on a stock B20 swap right?
