do you have 1? I've got a walbro for sale if you need it?

I ran it in my car but it ran too rich.... If you plan for anythinh highpower I would suggest you use a high flow walbro one..... like the one I'm selling.

Is one needed? Not always but then it depends on the car and how clean/old the fuel system is. Some people don't need an aftermarket hi-flow fuel pump and their H22 swaps run great. Some do and need to upgrade to a hi-flow fuel pump. But on an EG or EK Civic, it's easy access to get to and change out so it's something that can be done at anytime really. What you should do first is get the car up & running and then determine whether you need the fuel pump. If you already have one, more power to you and throw it in. Also get an adjustable FPR and gauge on the fuel rail so you can fine-tune the fuel delivery.

Agreed with most things. I would suggest you just upgrade from now since your stock pump is not working. Its failry cheap and you can get the 255gph pump for under ten dollars right here on Honda-tech. After that if need get a FPR only to bump down fuel. The stock rail is adequate upwards of 400+ horsepower and is a waste to upgrade otherwise..
