h22 header pissin me off!?
h22 into civic, lookin for a nice header at a decent price....my choices are hotshot@$472...a little pricey but if i have the extra cash ill go for it.
dc- just as expensive and i really dont care much for the company.
an-r- cannot get a price due to their site being down.
cheap ebay crap- no way in hell!
ne other options for a nice h22 header with a decent cost?

Steve from HMO sells Jasma headers that will fit, I have them on my motor, but I do not have everything to install my swap, and I do not know any specs on it, alls i know is that he says it will fit, and they look pretty cool.

We have noticed big gains from the Hotshot header. DC are the worst headers out there on the market.

The Hotshot header is a beast... but also kind of a bitch to install since you need to take it apart into the 2 separate pieces and put it in that way, if your motor is in your car. The primary on the #1 cylinder touches the alternator (sticks out that far) but has no affect on it and the 3" collector hits the oil pan. In order to get a perfect seal, welding the 2 pieces together is your best best and the downpipe does not have a flange so you have to improvise there.... I welded a "Y" header dump right after it (where the cat "should" go, but hey it's a race car ) and had the exhaust piping all the way back. Car pulled a lot harder past 5000 in the VTEC area. Kind of a bitch to make it fit, but when you get in there, it's well worth it and very noticable on the H22.

Re: h22 header pissin me off!? (Newman)
the best header would be a header that wouldn't be so damn low to the ground when you lower your car only one inch. my '94 coupe is barely lowered and i scrape my headers (down pipe) all the time.
other than that, i have other friends with prelude vtecs that have the hotshot header. they like it. i don't have much input because mine is stock.
