Which H22 Civic header???
I no I asked this question a couple of months ago, but now I have finally decided to get a header and got $$$. So basically what are my choices/price and what performance gains can I expect.
Newman before pretty much convinced me on the hotshot header he had before, but Now An-R has there header, and a couple of other companies. Now I don't no who I should go with, anyone have any new info/experience with any h22/civic headers? thanks guys....

I'd have to say SMSP or AN-R definitely.
The Hotshot isn't bad, and very good priced, but I would most definitely get the one who has extreme research and development to make the best possible HP.

Poison is right. Whatever fits your budget and/or power goals. All three headers are nice, but the SMSP and AN-R have more horsepower hiding in them.

Some pictures of the Hotshot 4-1 race header on my old H22A hatch (before the SMSP & AN-R headers were even available.... no other "good" H22 header was out either). Very noticable difference right away, especially in VTEC. Only downside.... damn downpipe is so big that it hangs low (low ground clearance) and you need to slightly dent the oil pan or do something in order to achieve as much ground clearance as possible. Where the primaries meet up on the downpipe, next to the collector, it's a good 3.25" in diameter, and then drops down to around 2.75" on the collector itself.

If you're on a tight budget then get the an-r, I have the hotshot header and for some reason it doesn't work really good for me like most people, just from my personal butt dyno experience from the stock one. But if you gonna buy something like the smsp you should try im FTR11secALLMOTOR, I think he might have something in the works for the h22's.

has anyone put a an-r header in a h22 civic yet, anyone have any pics? I'm not really on a tight budget or anything I just want a header that will fit in my car, my car has a type r rad, and thats about it for fitment issues no a/c no power steering etc. I just don't want to buy a header that will be the same as my jdm h22 header (dc header). pictures would be great, newman has showed me great pics of the hotshot now just for the an-r... thanks guys

j.fuggi has.

I say the Imagine Engineering header. It's been shown to make 13 hp and 9 ft-lbs over DC Sports and they are running a group-buy right now - https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=569620

if you looked just a few posts above, you'd see i posted a link to my an-r header review.
unfortunatly, i have no dyno proof or anything of that sort, but check it out:
