H22 engine with F22 tranny (build question)
Ive decied Im going to do this instead of the complete H22 swap for various reasons. My question is the engine just bolts right to the tranny, correct? There really is nothing more that I need to do, except on bolt it then through the engine on it?
My reason for this is because 1. I have the SH engine and tranny 2. Gas milage 3. I can save up for a h22 LSD tranny eventually

as long as your block is not from an ATTS SH prelude it will bolt right up. The F22 and H22 trannies are the same with exception of the guts.

Re: H22 engine with F22 tranny (skunked)
Damn Im just running into all kinds of problems. The block is from an SH. Does that mean I would have to make that adapter plate?
Also I was reading around and read that the base axles are the same as the SH axles. If this is true then does that mean I could swap the ATTS tranny into the 90 Accord using the Accord axles and just not wire up ATTS? (Basically just have dead weight)

atts tranny will only bolt up to a atts block.
A non atts tranny will bolt up to a atts block however a custom bracket will be needed to make the regular 5speed midshaft bolt up to the atts block.
