Gears are way too long. Your gonna wish you waited for a h22 tranny.

wont the h22 also put down more of a beating on the tranny since its not designed to support that much hp.?

I really doubt Honda decided to build a tranny weaker because the engine puts out 50~ less horsepower

if you plan on turbo'ing anytime in the future, i suggest you keep the F22 tranny. if you plan on using it with an NA H22, it's good on gas but your power band will smack you in the face for it's lack of use.

The F22 tranny runs good with the H22. The H22 tranny will obviously work better but the F22 does the job well.

THe h22 tranny is best for FI and N/A. There was a big thing on this a while back. People were claiming the longer gears of the f22 tranny is better for boost. Actaully you want shorter gears giving faster acceleration. But eighter are good for boost. I just wouldnt run a f22 tranny on a n/a h22. At least get a h23 tranny.
