H22 in DC2
wasup dudes, i'm new here.
anyways, i've seen the article in 'sport compact car' about the h22 in the EG. i know the EG platform is similar to the DC, but... about the h22 in the DC...
has anyone seen it done?
has anyone done this?
does anyone want to do it?
i want to do it, really want to.
just want to know what it entails, especially about the drive shafts.

Re: H22 in DC2 (6061)
seen it in a couple of cars up in seattle washinton, its very possible so much so that place racing has a kit for it I think hasport does to but not sure. This is not the fastest setup though.

Re: H22 in DC2 (infamousRRH)
I've done this swap...I plan to turbocharge...yes..it's fast...do you have any experience with this swap infamousRRH saying it's not a fast setup? Would you like to tell me what would of been better than a turbocharged H22A in my Integra? Thanks.
About the driveshafts...I contacted raxles.com to make some custom axles for this swap...I'm using the prelude intermediate shaft with these custom axles.
I have a LSD so traction is not a problem....drivability is great...don't let people tell you it will screw up your suspension....most, if not all of those people saying that have never even done the swap.
I used the HASport mount kit...everything fits perfect...I was able to keep power steering...I do not have a/c because the compressor pulley rubbed against one of the frame rails. I’m sure you can custom fabricate something if you really want it...I did not.
Any other questions....email me - drewff10@cfl.rr.com

Re: H22 in DC2 (6061)
It is very possible but i would suggest going with the hasport kit because place racing screwed me around for 7 months for a supposed kit for an h22 into a g2 integra. Hasport is probably the best way to go and it pretty much just drops in. the wiring is the only thing you need to worry about.
