GSR/LS rods??

Default GSR/LS rods??

I recently bought a Darton sleeved b18c shortblock which had an LS crankshaft,eagle h-beam rods,cp pistons.He sold the LS crank and gave me a GSR crank with the block...will I need to order a rods for a GSR or are they the same?

the rods need to match the crank so you need gsr rods.

yep you need gsr rods. They are better than ls rods anyways so thats good. You will lose a little some stroke though.

alright thanx for the info...i think im going to just buy an LS crankshaft since that would be the cheapest way to go instead of buying new rods.

Get the GSR rods...LS rods are even weaker than the GSR's

gsr rods are alot stronger and gsr bearings are better too

is it really that big of a difference?...I wanted to keep the longer stroke and im only shooting for around 375whp.

So you have to choose between a stock used LS crankshaft or new forged GSR rods?

how much torque can you gain by using the LS crank & rods..is it not worth it?
