Going to swap my OBD2 B16 to OBD1 JDM B16. Need some advice.
Well I blew my motor. and I need kinda a cheap one in right now I was wondering if this JDM b16 for 92-95 gen will fit my 2000 Si? I'm going to use my stock mounts as there brand new but I really need to know if the shift linkage I'm going to get will fit my 2000? Here's the motor I plan to put in.

Will the shift linkage work?
Thanks.

The linkage that comes with your donor engine can be used on your SI. The linkage from your old Si motor will even blot up!!! The new mounts that you have will also bolt up to your new motor. Make sure you take the ac mount and rear engine mount off your si, and transfer them over to the new motor. Also use your si distributor and put it on the donor motor.

Yeah someone else told me to use my distributor. Why is that? and how will I use an obd2 dizzy on obd1? Is there a write-up on changing the pinouts?
